General Waste
This waste is general household or construction waste that is unable to be recycled or diverted from landfill. General waste includes:
- General rubbish
- Small and large appliances
- Toys and furniture
- GIB offcuts and site waste
- Other non-recyclable items.
Green Waste
Cleaning and clearing up your garden of those tree trimmings, manic weeds and grass cuttings. Green waste includes:
- Tree cuttings and leaves
- Weeds and fresh grass
- Plant clippings
- Other types of organic waste (no cabbage, toi toi or flaxes).
Hardfill Waste
For heavy materials like bricks, concrete, stones and clean soil, hardfill is only able to be disposed of in our small skips. Hardfill waste includes:
- Un-contaiminated soils, rock, gravels, sand, clay and other inorganic inert natural materials
- Bricks and masonry blocks
- Concrete – unreinforced (including dried slurry concrete)
- Reinforced concrete is acceptable providing protruding reinforced steel is cut off at the concrete face.
- Dry asphalt
