Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of skip hire services provided by Super Skips Limited, hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” to customers, hereinafter referred to as “the Customer.” By using our skip hire services, the Customer agrees to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Booking and Delivery:

1.1. Skip Size: The Customer is responsible for selecting the appropriate skip size based on their needs. The Company will provide information and guidance, but the final choice is the Customer’s responsibility.

1.2. Booking Confirmation: The booking is confirmed when the Customer receives a booking confirmation email or equivalent communication from the Company.

1.3. Delivery and Collection: The Company will deliver the skip to the specified location and collect it on the agreed-upon date. The Customer must ensure the designated drop-off and pickup areas are clear and accessible.


2. Skip Use:

2.1. Prohibited Waste: The Customer must not place hazardous waste, asbestos, chemicals, liquids, or any prohibited materials in the skip. Such materials must be disposed of in accordance with applicable laws.

2.2. Overloading: The Customer must not overload the skip beyond its capacity. Overloading may result in additional charges and safety hazards.


3. Skip Placement:

3.1. Location: The Customer must specify the skip placement location during booking. The skip must not obstruct public roads, walkways, or other public areas without proper permits.

3.2. Permits: The Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for skip placement on public property. The Company can provide guidance, but obtaining permits is the Customer’s responsibility.


4. Payment:

4.1. Fees: The Customer agrees to pay the skip hire fees as specified in the booking confirmation.

4.2. Additional Charges: The Customer may incur additional charges for overloading, exceeding the rental period, weight limit or any damage to the skip beyond reasonable wear and tear.


5. Liability:

5.1. The Company is not responsible for any damage to the Customer’s property during skip delivery, placement, or collection unless it results from the Company’s negligence.

5.2. The Customer is liable for any damage to the skip while it is in their possession, excluding normal wear and tear.


6. Cancellation:

6.1. The Customer may cancel a booking, but any cancellation fees will be specified in the booking confirmation.


7. Termination:

7.1. The Company reserves the right to terminate the skip hire service and remove the skip if the Customer breaches these Terms or uses the skip for unlawful purposes.


8. Privacy:

8.1. The Customer’s personal information will be collected and used in accordance with the Company’s privacy policy.


9. Governing Law:

9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.


10. Amendments:

10.1. The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.


By booking a skip with the Company, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not proceed with your booking. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Super Skips Limited for clarification before proceeding.
